Place: Redwood creek Orick

Text: Redwood creek at Orick flooded the adjacent fields. In some places it deposited boulders and immense quantities of gravel over fertile fields. The creek branched into 2 forks south of Orick & washed away much farming land of one of the ranches. Orick was a sea of water. The Orick Inn was completed surrounded by water.
