Text: Bids for work on 101 between Fortuna and Scotia were opened in Sacramento yesterday. The firm of Hemstreet & Bell of Fresno were the low bidders. The work includes realignment and grading. Bad curves will be eliminated and the road widened to 21 feet. It will be surfaced with bituminous-treated gravel.
