Text: The road between Lindsay Creek and Korbel at the Upper Mad River Br. is being widened and graded. The crews have been removing brush, setting up a huge steam shovel and constructing detours. Two detours have been made. Ine runs south out of Blue Lake to West End Rd. The other runs to the river from Lindsay Creek, crosses Mad Riv. on a temporary br. and runs up to the "highway"(?) on the west side of the river, thru a by-road bordering Warren creek.
