Bids will be opened at the local state highway office for two projects in Humboldt County on the Redwood Highway and one project in Del Norte on the Redwood Highway. The first one in Humboldt is for 1800 cubic yards of crushed rock for an oil macadam road, 8.5 miles, from Orick to Russ Grove. The second one is for 9000 cubic yards of crushed rock for an oil macadam road for 6 miles from Russ Grove to the Humboldt County line. The third is for 9000 cubic yards of crushed rock for surfacing and macadamizing four miles between Elk and Smith Rivers.
