South Spit Jacoby Creek Quarry

20,000 tons of rock from the Jacoby Creek Quarry were delivered to the south spit & placed on the Jetty during the month of April. Hammond Construction Company is delivering 800 - 1000 tons/day. The new 108-ton crane which arrived on April 11th enables a vast amount of rock to be handled & placed. The crane can handle 20 tons out to 35 feet. Their contract requires them to deliver 1500 tons/day.
