Text: Rodney Burns, founder of the Stump House around 1907. He was 67. For a time he worked at the old Richardson Mill at 4th and E (Site of the present Christ Episcopal Church.) Here he perceived the possible marker for RW burl novelties and opened a shop in the old Occidental Mill. He left Eureka a few months ago and turned the Stump House over to his nephew, Lee Clark.
