Text: 25 years ago (1917 0n 9/27) Eureka City Council decided the route of 101 through Eureka would be Broadway at 4st. There was considerable activity make it fallow Harris to Old Arcata road, this route lost out. State Highway engineer Sumner said state would build bridge over Eureka Slough connect with marsh road.
