Text: Sally Bell died at age 110 in her home in Briceland on 10/11 at 5AM. She was born in Upper Mattoie in 1825. She was witnessed to one of the early massacres where her mother and father were killed. She and another child were taken off by whites. She is survived by her husband Tom & 2 sisters Jennie Young and Mrs. Hattie Bamsel. Funeral services were held at her home and her body was buried in an old cemetery on the place.
