Sam Shaw died at 82. He ran his ranch at Iaqua for many years and was a deputy sheriff for 4 yrs. He was living at 1704 K st, Eureka at the time of his death. Shaw Rd. and Shaw Bridge on Mad River were named after him. His wife, Ada Frame Shaw, died in 1935.
