Text: "Timber Land Frauds" The S.F. Bulletin of the 9th gives the additional arrests for subornation of perjury, and the action and proceedings in the U.S. Distr. Court. Following is the article- as published: Charles Beach, H.A. Marks, M.P Roberts and Frederick W. Bell, who were indicted by the U.S. Grand Jury for subornation of perjury in connection with Messrs. King, Evans, and others in the location of timber land in Humboldt county, were arrested at Eureka yesterday by Dep. Marshal Hopkins, & upon giving bonds in the sum of $5,000 each, were released from custody. The Judge ordered the four to appear for arraignment on the 26th.
