Simpson Logging Company of Shelton, Washington purchased Coast Redwood Company at Klamath. The purchase included the site & equipment & logging rights to 7500 acres. All of the 375 employees of Coast Redwood company will be retained. A.K. Wilson was the owner of Coast Redwood company. Aerial photo of it on p.12 of 9/26/1948.
