Mckay transmitted to Congress on Monday, the state of California's official endorsement of the Trinity Unit of the Central Valley Rec. Project. This project was authorized in January by a finding of feasibility by former S.O.I. Chapman Rep. Claire Engle (D - Calif), chief Congressional sponsor of the project, has said he will seek Congressional review of the proposal before seeking construction appropriations. The California report on the project was submitted by Frank B. Durkee, State Public works director, April 13th, 1953.
