Text: The son, L.K. Wood (Lewis Kisor Wood), of the original explorer, L. K. Wood (Lewis Keysor Wood), died yesterday afternoon. He was 84, born in 1869. The son lived quietly at 1315 11th street, Eureka. He father married Clarissa Sidney Hanna in 1857. They had 8 children. He died at age 55 in July 12, 1874. A sister, Alice Barter of Arcata still survives and is the last living member of this early pioneer family.
