Text: Work on the South Jetty is 70% completed, A massive concrete mass - 300' feet long by 40' feet wide by 20' feet thick was poured at the outer end and a 3' feet thick parapet of concrete was poured to stop the overflow from breakers. Caution - the outer end of the jetty is 7' feet higher than the shore end.
