Text: Special Insert on the newly opened Eureka Plywood plant in Eureka. The M and M Woodworking Company of Portland, Oregon, will hold a formal opening on July 19th of their new $2M fir-Redwood plywood plant. The M & M was founded in 1918 by the late James A. Malarkey (see portrait photo). There's an aerial photo of the plant- says its on the shore of Humboldt Bay. Employs 215 men.
