Text: Vernon J. Hansen of the B.O.R. gave a talk to the Garberville Rotary on the status of the survey of all the rivers and streams in this part of the state. The survey began in 1952 & will take 5 years to complete. 37% of the runoff of the state occurs here. Other cooperating agencies are the U.S.F.W.S , NPS, Bureau of Mines. The study also includes studying possible dam sites and tunnels.
