Text: Reporters came in from the road camp near Rattlesnake Creek where a 45 man crew is working on the state road. It is 12 feet wide or more all the way and they are now within two miles of the South Fork at the Trinity River. To date almost 14 miles have been completed. About 8&1/2 miles were completed last season. The grade on the new road is either level or a maximum of 6%. Two men drove 16 miles from the head of Post Creek with having to use the brake. A bridge with a single span of at least 120' feet will be required over the South Fork.
