E.B. Watson, soil expert with USDA; and Stanley Cosby of UC have compl. a survey of 400 miles of the Eureka Distr. They will now move to Ferndale to set up hdqtrs & cont. their survey as far south as Scotia. All of this survey work will result in a map. They began last May.
