Mad River Maple Creek

Mayor Sweasey and 12 committee members surveyed a dam site on the lower Mad River yesterday. They drove to the bridge over Mad River at Maple Creek, where the projected dam site was inspected. They then drove back to Dr. Harold Grossman place, left their cars, and walked to the gorge where it is proposed to install a diversion dam. It was a two hour walk.
