The Humboldt County Planning Commission decided to recommend to the BOS that a survey for the new road along the north bank of Eel River be made from a pt. just south of Scatia where 101 crosses the Eel, to Shively. The citizens of Shively had previously submitted a petition for a high level bridge to the County PC several months ago.
