Text: The Trinity Diversion will be fought at the Congressional level. The 207 million dollar project would divert 660,000 AF through a 17 mile tunnel to the Sac via a 410 high dam backing up a 1,800,000 AF reservoir at Lewiston and the construction of a smaller div dam 7 mile downstream. Frank B. Durkee, state dir. of Public Works denied in his letter to Doog Mckay (S.O.I) that the project would reduce appreciably the usable water resources of the Klamath watershed.
