Place: South Fork Trinity Trinity Highway

Text: The Trinity Highway has been construction to within 1&1/4 miles of the South Fork Trinity. This was reported by a local well known businessman named H. Schultz who just returned from Redding across the mtns. to view on foot with A. Walter of Redding, the ruggedness through which the highway will be built 27 men are at work. Much of it is blasting through rock. The grade does not exceed 6%. The highway is now within 14 miles of Ruth where it will connect with the Trinity and Humboldt County roads.
