Update on status of road projects. Grading & rock surfacing from Mad River to Mill Creek was completed about 10 days ago. Mercer Fraser is construction four bridge contracts north of Arcata - a bridge over the RR and 7 other timber bridges. The Butte Construction Company is just completing the new bridge over Mad River. Grading & rock surfacing from Arcata to Mad River is expected to be completed late this month. Grading has been completed on the cut off from Beatrice to Loleta.
