Text: The US Forest Service plans to construction a new bridge over the Trinity River near the Hawkins Bar CCC Camp. It would replace the current narrow suspension bridge built in 1920 by the Bureau of Public Roads. The main span will be 391 feet long and have an 18' foot roadway. The new bridge is being moved to Trinity county from Boulder City, Nev. Where it served temporarily during construction of Boulder Dam. The new bridge is also a suspension type bridge. The present old bridge was built in 1919 commencing about Oct. 1 and completed before Christmas.
