Text: The B.O.S., yesterday, passed a resolution endorsing the granting of water rights on the Klamath River to the Electro Metals Corporation. The rights were granted in 1908 (see p. 1 of 8/18/1923). An amendment to the Waterpower Act became effective 12 midnite 8/17/1923, was invoked by S.D. Duke, counsel for DPW in an effort to set aside the permit for power development on the Klamath River granted to Electro Metals Co.
