Text: W.H. Lindsey was found dead near Camp 22. He was 81 and built the first house in Uniontown. He was involved in several Indian fights & knew the battle that took place at this spot resulted in 52 of 53 Indians killed. He is survived by his sister Mrs. Sarah J. Anger Bates of Arcata.
