Text: While preparing B st. for summer paving the constr. crew discovered an old abandoned cistern at the corner of B and Clark. It had been decked over with planks and that is what the grader hit. The cistern measures 16' square and 10" deep. Near Harris and B st. the crew hit a spring that almost mired down street equipment.
