Text: Whole page on Woodley & Indian Island by Chet. Tom Kennedy had a place on Indian Island. He & others bought the old mill site that was part of the Evan's estate some years ago. Fresh water is avail. from wells 150' feet deep. Now there are about 15-20 people on the Island. Mr & Mrs. Ernie Lampella & Mr. & Mrs. Andy Gabrielson lived there. Chet visited the remains of the house that Gunther built. Vandals have stripped it. Chet & his friend climbed up to the cupola & got a good view. Ernie said there is an Indian burial ground near the old mansion.
