Text: Commencing August 1st there will be no more horse stages used on the route of the Overland Stage company. After 8/1 auto stages will run though to Sherwood. When auto stages begin, they will leave Halmes Camp & run to Cummings on Day #1. They will reach Sherwood the next morning & reach S.F. that afternoon. Yesterday the NWP arch at the foot of 2nd was dismantled.
