Will Speegle's "Remember When" The article contains an old photo of E st looking north showing the Bay Hotel on the NW corner of 3rd and E st. and some of the old shacks left over from Chinatown. They were a block south of the hotel. Diagonally was Tommy Nash's saloon. Ten Window Williams operated later on the same site on the SE corner of 3rd to E. (Check son born maps to figure out which way this photo was taken.)
