Text: 1000 ' feet of the scheduled 3000' feet levee is completed. It is will 11' feet above mean low water. It will serve as a containment wall behind which the dredged mud from the Fields Landing turning basin will be dumped. The dumplings will be placed on the Buhne Ranch which suffered major erosion some time ago by the breakers that ran across the bay from the entrance to Humboldt Bay. Franks Contracting Company is doing the work.
