Nicole Rahman-Garnier

Nicole Rahman-Garnier currently works on campus as the Assistant Coordinator for the Place-
Based Learning Communities. She has lived in Humboldt County for over 20 years and is a
double alum from Cal Poly Humboldt (BSc. in Marine Biology 2020, MSc. In Biology 2025). She
has held various positions on campus over that time, including working as both student staff
and as a summer assistant with the PBLCs during her undergraduate studies. During her
graduate studies, she was a Teaching Associate for Zoology and Evolution, and is passionate
about supporting student success and diversity, and grateful to return to a program that does
so enthusiastically.
Off campus, she enjoys tide pooling, kayaking, boating, and hiking with her dog.
