Dear Colleagues,

In just 9 days (April 15), Cal Poly Humboldt will proudly welcome the WSCUC Accreditation Review Team to campus to meet with nearly two dozen campus groups in targeted meetings and open forums. 

If you’re still wondering what accreditation is all about or how you can be involved, I enthusiastically invite you to join us for the final WSCUC Accreditation Site Visit presentation and “prep” session on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Great Hall. We will review the 2018 recommendations from WSCUC, the work Humboldt has done since then to address those recommendations, the current Lines of Inquiry, and open the room to discussion. Light refreshments will be provided.

There’s also still time to participate in the “Rooted & Rising Together” door decorating contest. This is a chance to creatively celebrate who we are—your participation elevates our campus spirit and visually tells the story of Humboldt in ways that represent our unique culture and identity. Submissions are due to oaavp@humboldt.edu on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 by 5 pm. Sustainable creations are strongly encouraged.
