September 22, 2026

Dear Colleagues,

This week gives us a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our faculty and the many ways their teaching, scholarly and creative activities, and service, enrich our University.

Promoted Faculty Reception: Thursday, September 24, 2026

This Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:30 pm, we will gather in the Kate Buchanan Room, on the 2nd floor of the Gutswurrak Student Activities Center (GSAC 225) for our Promoted Faculty Reception. This reception is an opportunity to recognize colleagues who have achieved tenure and/or promotion, important milestones in their academic careers.

Tenure and/or promotion represent excellence in teaching, along with important contributions in scholarship and creative activity, and service. The reception gives us an opportunity not only to recognize our tenured and promoted faculty, but also to celebrate the academic community that makes this work possible.

The reception is open to faculty and staff, though seating is limited. Dinner and beverages will be served. We will recognize the following faculty:
