Dear Colleagues, 

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in last week’s WSCUC Accreditation Site Visit. The visit went exceptionally well from start to finish, and the Review Team expressed genuine appreciation for the engagement, care, organization, and hospitality shown by our campus community. 

We ended the week with the Exit Meeting on Friday morning, which by all accounts was historic. Much like the launch event, we had a packed house and a lot of excitement from our campus community members. In addition to the review team providing their preliminary commendations and recommendations, we welcomed a couple of special guests, one of whom wrote a song for the occasion. The review team got wind of the impending performance and, in an unprecedented request, asked to stay to hear the song! (Normally, the Review Team exits the room immediately following delivery of their statement, with no further campus interaction). Thank you Peggy, Lucky the Logger, and everyone else who brought their enthusiastic energy to the Exit Meeting. It was memorable, to be sure.

As we return to our regular rhythm, our usual Provost Communication announcements will resume this Thursday (then return to our Monday/Wednesday schedule next week). There is much to share with you as we begin to close out the academic year, and I look forward to connecting with you all at the many events and celebrations coming up!
