Dear Colleagues, 

Spring Commencement is just 10 days away!

I’m happy to share that, over the past couple of weeks, the number of faculty and staff still needed to fully staff Commencement has decreased from nearly 100 to approximately 60. Thank you to everyone who has already signed up.

For those who have been considering whether to participate, I’d like to take one final opportunity to encourage you to join us on Saturday, May 16, 2026, for a morning, afternoon, or all-day shift. Your support will help ensure Commencement is a smooth, welcoming, and memorable experience for the Class of 2026 and their families and friends.

Everyone plays an important role in bringing Commencement to life. If you are able to assist for part or all of Commencement day, your contribution will make a meaningful difference during this important milestone. Please connect with your supervisor regarding overtime or compensatory time options, depending on your employment status and departmental flexibility.
