October 19, 2025

Good morning everyone, and happy Wednesday. The kickball competition has been nothing short of epic this week, with OH HEY HEY narrowly edging out Kickin’ it Old School by a 5-4 margin on Monday. Tyler Hooker, Instructional Support Technician, kicked a walk-off to seal the win. On Tuesday, our student team, Jack Attack, looked unstoppable against the Lumbjack Legends (alumni), who staged a solid comeback attempt. All in all, getting outside in the sunshine, laughing and playing, has been so much fun.

I’m looking forward to catching the game today in the Redwood Bowl at 12 pm between 2 Legit 2 Kick (Advancement/Athletics) vs. Pitch, Please! (Academic Affairs).

  • Erin Kelly, Forestry

  • Kishan Lara-Cooper, Child Development

  • Melanie Michalak, Geology

  • Marissa Ramsier, Anthropology
