Eligibility

This program is intended for people passionate about carriers in regenerative medicine. 
 
Successful applicants will have completed upper-division collegiate coursework in cell biology, genetics, and biochemistry. Examples of these courses at Cal Poly Humboldt include: BIOL 350 Cell Biology, BIOL 440 Genetics Lab, BIOL 450 Cell Biology Lab, BIOL 544 Stem Cell Biology, and Biochemistry I/II (CHEM 434/L & 435/L). 
 
A background in statistical analysis and computational methods is useful but not required. We also strongly encourage undergraduate applicants to participate in at least two semesters of undergraduate research.
 
Students interested in the M.S. track of this program must first be accepted to the Humboldt Department of Biological Sciences Graduate Program. Please contact Program Director Dr. Amy Sprowles before submitting your application.
