Eligibility

Applicants must have successfully completed BIOL 350 Cell Biology or the equivalent from another institution. In addition, students are strongly encouraged to complete BIOL 440 Genetics Lab, BIOL 450 Cell Biology Laboratory, BIOL 544 Stem Cell Biology, and Biochemistry I/II(CHEM 434/L & 435/L).  Background in statistical analysis and computational methods is useful but not required.

Undergraduate applicants are strongly encouraged to participate in at least two semesters of undergraduate research.

Students interested in the M.S track of this program must first be accepted to the Humboldt Department of Biological Sciences Graduate Program. Contact Program Director Dr. Amy Sprowles before submitting your application.
