I graduated from the Cal Poly Humboldt Mechanical Engineering Department in spring 2026. My capstone project was to design a mechanism that could climb and prune coastal redwood trees. We designed a bio-inspired "inch-worm" mechanism that would use high strength linear actuators to climb and cut at the same time. I am the lab instructor for Vibrations, Manufacturing, and Advanced Numerical Methods 1. I am a Humboldt native and both of my parents graduated from the ERE program here at Cal Poly Humboldt.
