CIRM Bridges 3.0 Scholars Program
The Humboldt CIRM Bridges 3.0 Program is designed to produce biomedical scientists from diverse backgrounds committed to accelerating the discovery, development and delivery of stem cell, gene therapy and related technologies for improving human health.

Huwighurruk Tribal Health Postbaccalaureate Program
This joint partnership with UC Davis School of Medicine is designed to support participants on their journey to medicine. The program will provide a culturally focused framework intertwined with courses at Cal Poly Humboldt.
North Coast Concussion Program
With the mentorship of Beth Larson and Justus Ortega, students get the chance to learn about traumatic brain injuries and gain hands-on experience working with people of all ages and backgrounds from the Cal Poly and broader Humboldt-Del Norte communities.
Fall Prevention Program
This program offers a series of tests to assess lower body strength and endurance, flexibility, mobility, postural balance, and fall risk. Based on the results of your assessment, experts work with clients to find exercises that help to improve balance and mobility and reduce the risk of falls.
Biomechanics Lab Testing Program
The Biomechanics Lab offers in-depth assessments to students, faculty, staff and the wider Humboldt community, including: balance, mobility and fall risk, clinical gait analysis, 3D movement analysis, bike fitting and running analysis.
Fitness & Health Testing Program
The Human Performance Lab offers in-depth assessments to students, faculty, staff and the wider Humboldt community, including: Body Composition Assessment, Aerobic Fitness Assessment.

Internships
Summer Healthcare Internship
The Paid Summer Internship for Health Profession Careers program aims to involve students from Cal Poly Humboldt and the College of the Redwoods who belong to traditionally underrepresented backgrounds. The program's goal is to offer these students valuable opportunities to observe and shadow professionals in primary care and geriatrics during the summer

CSU Health Professions Scholars Initiative
The Health Professions Scholars Initiative (HPSI) welcomes applications from matriculated CSU students, both upper-division undergraduates and master’s students, who plan to pursue research-focused doctoral degrees such as the PhD, DrPH, DNP, DSW, or AuD.
