Join Friends of the Dunes for a behind-the-scenes look at dune restoration at the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center. Learn how decades of dedicated restoration work have transformed invasive plant dominated landscapes into thriving native dune habitats that support rare plants, pollinators, and wildlife.

Through stories, photos, and project highlights, this presentation will explore the challenges and successes of restoring one of California’s most unique coastal ecosystems and highlight the important role that community volunteers play in the stewardship of these special places.
