Brown Bag Lunch Online Presentation with Jane P. Woodward, M.Ed., MPA, JD:
The United States Constitution provides for three co-equal branches of government to provide checks and balances against overreach by any branch. We will discuss how this has been working in recent years and over the last 10 months, and what steps will be required to rebalance the branches. (Note that this presentation has been changed since OLLI catalog publication.)
Jane Woodward (M.Ed, MPA, JD) has been an educator, attorney, social science researcher, analyst, and program developer for over 45 years. She has developed and presented OLLI courses on Creative Living, Consciousness: An Exploration, Conscious Living, Advocacy, Sleep: An Exploration, Local Responses to Climate Change, Living as a Locavore, Healthy Humboldt, and For the Love of a Horse, and coordinates the OLLI Brown Bag lunch program.
