Time: 2-4 p.m.
Location: In person: Arcata
Cost: $60
With Jocelyn Heaney, Lecturer, Cal Poly Humboldt
Do you find it difficult to stick to a journaling practice? Would you like to find a form of journaling that will lift your spirits and bolster your self esteem? Would you like to explore different forms of journaling that fit your aesthetic, time commitment, and comfort level? In this class, we will explore many types of journaling from micro-journaling and sprinting, to dialogue, and collage journals. We will cover both experimental and traditional forms of writing.
There is no art or writing experience needed. Just bring a notebook and a sense of curiosity.
Note that while you may compose on a laptop, writing by hand is recommended, as it facilitates a deeper connection with the material. Collage supplies will be provided for the collage journaling segment of this class.
Register by 12 p.m., October 4.
