Many men experience changes in bladder function, bowel function, sexual health, and core stability as they age, yet few people understand the important role of the pelvic floor muscles in these functions. This course will provide an evidence-based introduction to male pelvic floor health and how the pelvic floor contributes to daily function, exercise, and quality of life.
Participants will learn about common pelvic floor conditions affecting men, including urinary incontinence, urgency, constipation, pelvic pain, erectile dysfunction, and recovery following prostate surgery. The course will also explore the relationship between breathing, posture, movement, exercise, and pelvic floor function.
Designed for adults with no prior medical knowledge, this course emphasizes practical strategies for maintaining pelvic health and healthy aging.
Register by 12 p.m., November 3.
