Elementary Education (Multiple Subject Credential)
The Elementary Education credential program is a one-year course of study that qualifies graduates for teaching positions in grades K-8. Experience teaching in local schools is a hallmark of our programs, which are led by faculty who are dedicated to teaching and mentoring students.

Every teacher credential program requires 600+ hours of field experience.
You’ll learn how to approach teaching that is culturally responsive and design instruction that brings in the diverse knowledge, experiences, and learning abilities of students in local communities.
You will develop lesson plans and unit plans that actively engage K-8 students to create environments where students create their own knowledge.
