Redwood Writing Contest
2026 Theme: You matter, so write what matters to you. Students in grades 3-12 are invited to participate in the contest.
Submissions are now closed. Winners will be announced by May 18th.
Awards ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, June 14th in Eureka.
Super Saturdays
Sessions are facilitated by Redwood Writing Project Teacher-Consultants and will demonstrate why Writing (still) Matters.
Dates: 4/4, 4/25, 5/2, 5/16, 5/30, 6/6, 9am-12pm on Zoom

Invitational Summer Institute
RWP’s summer institute is transformative.
Summer 2026 Dates: July 6-10, July 13-16, July 20-23 from 8am-2pm in Founders Hall.
Participants earn a $800 stipend and 5 units of credit.
The ISI application period has closed. Please email to inquire about joining.
Back to School Work Party
A space for you to set goals, plan, and design writing curriculum in a supportive and collaborative environment in preparation for the 2026-27 school year.
Dates: August 5th, 6th, 7th from 9am-2pm, Founders Hall
Stipend, materials, and lunches provided.
