Michael, originally from San Diego County, moved to Humboldt in 2016 from Riverside, CA, after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology from UC, Riverside. Michael has worked in various jobs in Humboldt ranging from Eureka Natural Foods to Coast Central Credit Union, gaining perspective and skills along the way. He enjoys the community, sustainability, and art-oriented culture of Humboldt.

In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, foraging for mushrooms, making ceramic art, and playing board games with friends.
