Faculty/Staff Parking
Payroll Deduction
- Digital Permit via Passport – One-time $10 service fee. The service fee is charged by the vendor. Initiate process here
- Physical Permit (Sticker) – Available for purchase at the Cashier's Office. This option has no service fee.
Permanent employees or temporary lecturers with a 12-month contract can participate in the payroll deduct program.
Faculty and staff are eligible to purchase a Faculty/Staff Parking Permit at the bargaining unit rate listed below.
*Eligible Staff/Faculty must be a State Employee (not an Auxiliary Employee). Faculty are only eligible if they work both Fall & Spring semesters. Hourly/Intermittent Staff, Emergency Hires, and Student Assistants are not eligible for Payroll Deduction.
Academic Year Permit

- Physical Permit (Hang Tag) – Available for purchase at the Cashier's Office. This option has no service fee.
Semester Permit
- Digital Permit via Passport – $5 service fee each semester. Purchase online at humboldt.cmrpay.com.
- Physical Permit (Hang Tag) – Available for purchase at the Cashier's Office.
Daily Staff/Faculty Parking Permits
Daily permits may be purchased at the Parking Kiosk.
- Union/Faculty: $2.00 per day
- Non-Union/MPP: $5.00 per day
Daily General: Can be purchased via the Passport app, by texting "Park" to 30844, at one of our 5 pay stations, or at the Parking Kiosk, 7:30 am - 5 pm (Parking Kiosk closes at 2 pm during all campus breaks).
Permit Valid Dates:
- Summer: June 1 - July 31
- Fall: Aug. 1 - Dec. 31
- Spring: Jan. 1 - May 31
Parking is extremely limited, and the purchase of a permit does not guarantee you a parking location; therefore, we encourage alternate forms of transportation.
