Blanca Luevanos
Academic Advisor - ESM, Wildlife, and Forestry
Blanca is a first-generation college graduate who brings both environmental expertise and a passion for education to her work. She grew up in Southern California and pursued her undergraduate studies at Humboldt State University, graduating in 2020 with a degree in Environmental Science and Management with a focus in Ecological Restoration.
Following graduation, Blanca served as a corps member with the Watershed Stewards Program, where she worked as a fisheries technician supporting critical salmon restoration efforts through large woody debris installations throughout Southern Humboldt . This hands-on conservation work deepened her commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement.
Before joining the team, Blanca spent four years working as an academic advisor in local Southern Humboldt schools, where she helped guide students through their educational journeys and fostered a love of learning in her community.
When she's not advising, Blanca enjoys spending quality time with friends, exploring her creativity through crafting, experimenting in the kitchen, and cuddling up with her pups.
