Lori Cortez-Regan

Lori Cortez-Regan is an Academic Advisor serving Business and Political Science students since 2023, following nearly a decade as faculty advisor for Sociology and Criminology & Justice Studies majors (2014–2023). With ten years of experience teaching Sociology and Criminology & Justice Studies courses, she brings a strong foundation in student-centered education and mentorship.

Lori earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Interdisciplinary Dance Studies from Humboldt State University (formerly HSU) and holds a Master’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in gender socialization and STEM studies. She is committed to supporting students’ academic success and guiding them in achieving their educational and professional goals.
